StarBoard Returns to SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2026 in Madrid!

StarBoard is looking ahead to SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2026, bringing its focus on interactive teaching technology to one of Spain’s key education-sector meeting points. After participating in the previous edition, the company has announced plans to return to IFEMA MADRID from 11–13 November 2026 to reconnect with partners and explore new opportunities.

The 12th International Exhibition of Educational Technology and Innovation, organised by IFEMA MADRID, will take place under the theme “Leadership for educational transformation”. Over three days, the event will bring together education professionals and technology providers to explore the tools, ideas and practices shaping classrooms and educational management.

Interactive Technology for Connected Classrooms

StarBoard’s education portfolio combines interactive displays, multi-touch whiteboards and classroom software. Its solutions support interactive whiteboarding, digital content sharing, and collaboration, giving teachers different ways to present material and involve students in lessons.

The company’s current range includes the YL5X PRO EDLA, a 4K interactive display positioned specifically for education, with laptop-free Android operation, a built-in AI accelerator and speakers with a subwoofer. Alongside its displays, StarBoard offers infrared interactive whiteboards with finger-driven, multi-touch input. These products illustrate the company’s classroom technology offering; the sources reviewed have not confirmed a specific product line-up for SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2026.

Software That Supports Everyday Teaching

Software is central to the StarBoard ecosystem. The company says its software suite comes with every StarBoard product, with no annual renewal fees. The suite brings together tools for interactive whiteboarding, wireless screen sharing, device management and online collaboration.

Its classroom and collaboration tools include:
  • StarBoard Software for interactive whiteboarding and lesson creation.
  • SBS Note for Android-based tools incorporating AI, Google and YouTube.
  • EShare for wireless screen mirroring.
  • iMagic for central device management.
  • StarBoard Online for connecting, collaborating and sharing remotely.

For schools considering classroom technology, this combination offers a useful starting point for discussions about teaching workflows, software licensing, and managing devices across multiple learning spaces.

A Meeting Point for Educational Transformation

SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2026 will combine an exhibition with conferences, practical workshops and professional networking opportunities. Its programme is designed to help educators and school leaders exchange knowledge, assess current challenges and discover approaches to educational transformation.

The leadership theme will also run through SIMO DIRECTORES, which focuses on the decisions schools face when introducing technological and organisational change. Meanwhile, the first International NeuroEduca Congress will bring neuroscience, learning and educational well-being into the wider programme. Together, these initiatives connect classroom technology with the leadership and learning considerations behind its adoption.

For StarBoard, returning to Madrid offers an opportunity to continue conversations with education partners, build on its previous participation, and present its broader approach to interactive classroom technology.
